A dog-friendly cabin
on a historic 40-acre farm

Sweeping fields, century-old barns, and the North Cascades out every window. Bring the whole pack — there's no maximum.

The one rule

You must bring your dog.

We're serious. Don't leave them bored at home, and don't you dare send them to a kennel. Think of all their hard work: standing guard at the window for deliveries, power naps, all that playing and cuddling and following you around from room to room. It's exhausting.

The Methow Dog Cabin is a place for them to relax and unwind, accompanied by their favorite humans. No maximum number of dogs, no weight limit, no breed restrictions. Time to let Max take you on a vacation.

The Cabin

An enchanting cabin in the woods

Originally built in Winthrop as a small schoolhouse, this two-bedroom cabin was transported to an idyllic forty-acre farm in the Mazama corridor. Relax in a peaceful, pastoral setting with historic barns and sweeping fields just out the windows.

The main floor centers on a hand-built stone propane fireplace — a cozy spot to gather with family, friends, and the dog. There are two complete living areas, a rustic front porch overlooking the open fields, and an enclosed deck perfect for your fur babies to lounge in the sun off-leash.

  • Sleeps up to 7. Two upstairs bedrooms — one queen; one queen plus two twins and a desk. A leather fold-out sleeper downstairs adds an extra guest.
  • Full kitchen, well stocked with pots and pans, plateware, bartending tools, and stemware.
  • Stay a 4th night and get a discount on the whole stay.

The Methow Valley

A gateway to it all

The Methow Valley hosts the largest Nordic ski area in North America — and the trail is just a quarter-mile walk away. The property has plenty of room to walk the dog and backs right up to the national forest.

  • 120+ miles of cross-country ski and bike trails.
  • Legendary October larch hikes in the northern Cascades.
  • Winthrop — a fun, western-themed town — just down the road.

One of the greatest recreation destinations in Washington, in every season.

Winter on the farm

Step out the door and into the snow

When the valley turns white, the farm becomes a Nordic basecamp. The Methow holds the largest groomed cross-country ski network in North America — and the trail is a quarter-mile walk from the cabin. Ski, snowshoe, or fat-bike straight from the farm, then thaw out by the fire with the dogs.

The working farm

Grown here, sold here — regeneratively

The farm is coming back to life. We're growing cut flowers, orchard fruit, and hops the regenerative way — building soil, not depleting it. Come summer, you'll find buckets of dahlias and fresh-cut bouquets, ripe fruit, and farm goods for sale right at the farmstand.

Want to make an afternoon of it? U-cut rows let you gather your own armful of flowers straight from the field.

Tasting room

Estate beer & cider, poured at the source

A future tasting room will pour estate-made beer and cider — brewed and pressed with fruit grown right on the farm. Think pear and peach ciders, berry-kissed ales, and seasonal pours you won't find anywhere else, alongside the best products from neighboring Methow Valley farms.
